US - WI - Walworth - Mechanic - Class B

We currently have openings at our Corporate Headquarters in Walworth WI in our Production Departments for an Experienced Class B Mechanic.

This position is responsible for maintaining equipment for minimum failure potential, by repairing all equipment as quickly & effectively as possible.

Other duties include but are not limited to:

1. Complete daily PM's per the PM Report.
2. Perform minor repairs as needed on all equipment.
3. Maintain all fluid levels on equipment.
4. Clean and or replace filters and socks on dryers, as applicable.
5. Clean, investigate and report all spills and leaks.
6. Maintain drums in spill containment areas as applicable.
7. Complete daily checks, including cushion, recovery, temperatures, and auxillary equipment are operating under normal circumstances.
8. Monitor water system, including water level, temperature, tower fans, water pumps, water softner, salt level and chemical balance as applicable.
9. Assist other mechanics as needed.
10. Complete and maintain all required documents and records, as applicable.
11. Follow Environmental Operational Controls as applicable.
12. Follow company policies, procedures and guidelines per the company handbook.
13. Use the Suggestion Program to continue company improvements.
14. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently without supervision. Work well with others. Must have basic computer and good math skills. Must possess good organization and communication skills. Mechanical and electrical knowledge. Ability to lift 80lbs. Ability to work at height up to 40 ft. Ability to climb and work from a ladder up to 25ft. Ability to stand on feet for 8, 10, or 12 hours as applicable. Read, write and speak English.

2nd and 3d shift positions.
