MPC Expands Capabilities to Include Rapid Prototyping

January 12, 2005—Southfield, Michigan— MPC, Inc., has expanded its capabilities to include rapid prototyping.
MPC now operates a rapid prototyping machine that creates physical models directly from CAD data. The process, which is versatile and simple, enables rapid manufacture of production-like parts, allowing engineers to produce a range of concept models for early concept and packaging evaluation. Additionally, the parts can be painted for a finished look, and used as a pattern for casting applications. MPC’s investment in rapid prototyping technology represents the Company’s continued commitment to meeting customers’ needs, and providing them with outstanding service.
