MPC Continues to Expand to Accomodate Growth

January 15, 2005—Southfield, Michigan— MPC, Inc., continues to expand its manufacturing facilities to accommodate growth.
MPC operates six manufacturing locations in the USA and Mexico. MPC is investing $1.9 million in additional manufacturing capacity at two of its manufacturing plants in Wisconsin. At a plant in Walworth, Wisconsin, 20,000 square feet of additional capacity was added, representing an increase of over 40%. This manufacturing facility is dedicated to molding large products on 15 presses, ranging in size from 500 tons to 1,430 tons.
In addition, MPC is adding 25,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity to its Prairie du Chien (PDC) plant. PDC molds, welds and assembles a variety of products including PCV valves, oil caps, reservoirs, quick connectors, check valves, harness assemblies, and OBD II test ports. The PDC addition represents a plant expansion of over 30%.
